With only 1 week away it is time to get serious about Thanksgiving day meal planning. So let's talk cranberry sauce or relish as I prefer it. I know you can easily purchase the already made canned version. But why do that, it's not very good. Instead make this! It takes about 15 minutes, and is packed full of tart cranberries, sweet and crunchy pomegranate seeds, shallots and fresh mint. It is sweet with a hint of savory. And while cranberry sauce is most often served at the dinner table, I actually prefer to serve it as an appetizer with a baguette and creamy goat cheese.
