friday favorites

My doughnut pan arrived yesterday, look at how cute these doughnuts are! I made a simple doughnut with cinnamon and sugar, but I can't wait to try out other recipes. Apple doughnuts. Pumpkin doughnuts. Browned butter doughnuts. Mmm, the possibilities.

This weekend is going to be pretty laid back. Tomorrow we have a new trail to test. As well as taking the kids swimming. On Sunday my parents are coming to celebrate a early Easter. I have been so good about not buying any Easter candy yet, it might be game over this weekend.

I don't wear a lot of jewelry. When I do, it is usually pretty simple. Right before Hudson was born I bought myself this wishbone necklace.

I would love to get this initial necklace. One with a H. One with a L.

Lately we have been trying to cook a few vegan meals each week. Next on my list are, carrot muffins, mac + cheese and this wild rice salad.
