Some days, I just want comfort style food. And fried rice is just that for me. It's quick, it's tasty and I absolutely love it. And the one rule with fried rice, is there honestly, is no rule. Except, make sure you really fry up the rice at a high heat. Anything can be added to fried rice. Veggies, like peas, green onions, kale, broccoli, and cauliflower, just to name a few. Now you can keep it vegetarian, that completely works. Or you can add some chicken, shrimp, or how about bacon! For the fun part, let's switch is up a little and add some grilled pineapple. Pineapple and bacon. Sweet and savory. Delicious is what that is.
