You guys, today is National Doughnut (Donut, I totally don't understand the difference) Day! So I did what all normal people would do, and baked 2 giant batches of doughnuts. Where I then preceded to eat 1 of each, then box them all up and deliver them to friends around town. Because let's be honest, 24 doughnuts is not apart of my 30 day cleanse that I am on. Have I mentioned that by the way? Not really a cleanse, more of a workout for 30 days straight, minimum of 30 minutes per day. Now this might sound easy to some, but come on, day 3, was rough. I'm on day 6, I totally got this. OK. Back to the doughnuts!
I made blueberry doughnuts, which were sweet and tangy. Then I made (my favorite new kind) rhubarb and pistachio. Those are the clear winner. Rhubarb and pistachio, what a combo! Recipe coming soon, I promise!
